Our Highway Department is a committed team that provides snow removal to keep our roads safe and travelable. Snow removal of approximately 53 miles of Town Roads and approximately 27 miles of County Roads. They also maintain/resurface all the Town Roads along with ditch and drainage work, patching pot holes, sweeping and clean-up work, plus maintaining and preparing the equipment for the season ahead.

 

MAILBOXES

 Do the shake test on your

mailbox and post---if it is already shaky,

the post is unstable and will not withstand

the pressure of the snow being plowed.

 

Replacement of mailboxes is a "courtesy" to the

Town residents. The Town is not responsible for

any plastic, designer boxes or post. Replacement

will be a standard metal box with a steel post.
