There are some registration forms and current program information outside the Town Building front door and also a locked drop box for completed registrations on the front door.
The Community Services Department publishes three program lists every year: Fall/Winter(September), Spring (early March), and the Summer brochure (early May). Program lists are distributed to the local elementary, middle and high school, day care centers, bank, library and the Town Hall.
The Town of Schroeppel Parks & Recreation Committee advises the Community Services Department. This Committee along with Community Services staff is always looking for new program ideas, so please call or email your suggestions.
William J. Farley Community Park
Located on Chestnut Street just outside the Village of Phoenix on 41 picturesque acres, Farley Park offers the following facilities in addition to a great winter sliding hill and a lot of “green space”:
3 picnic pavilions (2 available for reservation, 1 with electric) *
2 tennis courts
1 basketball court
Volleyball (as requested – summer only)
2 horseshoe pits
1 shuffleboard court
.59 mile walking track
1 football field*
3 softball fields*
1 baseball field
